Welcome to Zygi Charters, providing traditional fishing boat trips from Zygi where you can go fishing along the coast for Red Mulled, Pandora, Boque, Picarel, Parrot Fish, Kourkounes, White bream, Gildhead Seabream.
Common Seabas, Common Dentlex, Cuttle Fish, Octopus, Squid, Shimps, Skampi.
Albacore Tuna, Billfishes, Marlins, Spearfish, Dolphinfish, Swordfish, Bonitos.
All of the above will depend on the time of the year.
We cater for individuals or up to six Anglers and can provide you with nearby accommodation with transport if needed for large fishing groups, with a private swimming pool at very low rates and with plenty of parking with safe storage for your fishing equipment.

Q. Are children allowed aboard?
Yes children are very welcome but there must be 1 adult per 3 children. Lifejackets for children are supplied.
Q. Are there any discounts?
We may be able to offer a discount for repeat bookings. Larger parties will also help to keep costs down.
Q. Do I have to book the whole boat?
No. Single bookings are accepted.
Q. Do I need to be experienced?
Not at all, nearly all of our customers are totally new to sea fishing/angling and we will show you what to do as the day progresses.
Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A deposit of €20.00 is required to secure your booking. The balance is required in cash on the day and paid to the Captain.
Q. Do you take debit/credit card payments?
Unfortunately, at the present time we do not have the facility to accept debit/credit card payments over the phone but we can accept payment on-line through PAYPAL link below.
Q. How do I book a trip?
Information we require to accept a booking:
- The name(s) of the person(s) coming on the trip plus e-mail address.
- A contact telephone number in case of cancellation due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. (The Captain may need to be able to contact you the day before your trip.)
The fishing trips will include rods bait skipper and fuel.
The cost of a half day fishing trip is €350. A full day is €650.
We can now also offer night fishing trips.
The cost of night fishing is €400 for 4 hours and €750 for 8 hours.

Q. How many people can you carry aboard?
We carry a maximum of 6 people in comfort. There are 6 fishing stations (with chairs and rods) on deck.
Q. Is the boat safe for children?
Our biggest concern for the little ones is the sun, so please make sure that they are protected with high factor sun cream. There is also a sun canopy on board for protection. Please note you are responsible for your own children!
Q. What happens if we are sea sick?
The boat is one of the most stable and safest boats built and we will not go if the sea is really rough.
Q. What happens to our deposit if there is a cancellation?
If we have to cancel due to bad weather your trip can be rebooked as near to the original date as possible. However if we can not fit you in or you will no longer be on holiday here, we will refund your deposit.
Q. What fish might we catch?
This will depend on the time of year, but the following fish are common in Cyprus waters.
Red Mullet – Octopus – Squid – Cuttle Fish (Soupies) Small different fish are common.
Q. Can we keep our catch?
Yes you will keep any fish that you catch.
